Rear Window Discoloration

I remember seeing old cars back in the day with windows that had a patchy or pattern like silvery blue, almost relfective look to them. I thought it came from years of aging out in the elements. I've noticed the rear window in my '13 is beginning to develop the same coloration pattern after less than 5 months. It's starting to look pretty nasty in my opinion and I'm not real happy about it at all. I'm wondering if anybody else experiencing this issue with any of their windows.

Thanks for any input,
John

Sorry it took so long to get back on this. Since I noticed this, and in the time bewtween posts, I had the windows tinted and for whatever reason, the window looks fine now. Non-issues are good!

I noticed mine has spots on it when it gets a little cold...like golf ball size spots, one after another all across it.

Rando,

That's the way mine looked but it was there regardless of the temperature. The tinting that was applied made it go away or make it so it's not visiable.

I saw this phenomenon all the time with polarized glasses. The laminate in the middle is the cause of the issue, I think. I looked at my back glass and saw that pattern, and freaked out, until I figured out what I was looking at.

I don't use polarized sun glasses any more. They drive my eyes insane, and as we all know, insane eyes are not good for driving.
