My car just cut off while driving at low speed.

I was driving through town coming to a light and just kept it in gear to slow when I noticed the battery light come on shortly followed by all of the other idiot lights. I basically crapped my pants thinking the worst, #8! But the car started right back up no check engine lights etc. The car is untuned but I am running the boss h-pipes with open baffles. At times I get the sulfur smell from the cats, I wonder if the h-pipes could cause this?

My Fusion Sport used to do this a lot at slow speeds and idling. I know it's different cars but could be related. Mine was fixed by a tsb, but I can't remember exactly what the problem was. If I can remember I'll report back.

I'm not too worried, there's no cel, no smoke or anything and it started right back up and drove fine. I know the dealer did an ecu update at the last service back in October. Has there been a new release or is that the latest?

Hi alcarames,

I recommend you let your Ford dealer know about this and if needed bring it in for diagnosis. If you have to bring it in, please PM me with your VIN, mileage, dealer, and contact info so I can escalate it.
