Question ESP: Should I keep the extended warranty?

Well, i normally don't buy extended warranty for my vehicles.

Plus the way the warranty was sold to me didn't really appeal me.

So anyways, would you keep your stock warranty, or i purchased the

5yr /75K bumper to bumper.

You don't normally buy extended warranties, and the way they sold it didn't appeal to you - but you still paid for it? Odd. Depends how much it cost you. I cancelled mine when I found out I could purchase it online much cheaper. However, I've decided to stick with the standard warranty since I'm selling the car for the 50th redesign.

Question is.... are you going to mod your car? and mod it extensively? Cause if you do, chances are the warranty will normally be void anyway.

yea , pretty much. i didnt find out i bought the warranty till after i got home. the finace guy worded nice and i got stuck with it.

i will mod the car, but nothing crazy.

this is my first ford, i'm just not familiar with how reliable these cars are built.

so pretty much if i'm able to cancel now i will get the money back and dump it back into paying the loan.

If you cancel within 30 days you get the full amount credited back to your loan. After 30 days it's pro rated.

Your monthly payment will be the same but it'll be paid off sooner.

This site is where I saw the warranty for half as much as I paid. That's when I decided to cancel it.

Adam.. thanks for posting the link. I was put off by the cost, even directly from Ford, but after seeing this site, I purchased my 7/100 premium care from them. Good deal.

The dealership's finance department took care of it for me. It took about 8 weeks before I saw the refund.

I purchased from FloorFord ESP also. Definately the best price. 7 years/75,000 miles, PremiumCare, $100 deductible for $915. My dealer quoted me double that.
