Drivers power seat went out

So I went to ajust the drivers seat on my 12 GT premium and it will go back and worth but not up and down. Any thoughts?

The warranty just expired June 3. It has been a fast 3 years.

Mine went out right 'before' the warranty expired on my 2011 . They replaced the rack assy. A lot of peoples drivers side power seat motors have gone bad .

Hi SynisterGT,

You should still speak with the service manager at your Ford Dealer. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here.

Mine went well after the warranty ended and it costs about $700 ($400 part, $300 labor) to get replaced. Unfortunately, you have to replace the entire lower seat track which is why it's so expensive.
