Please continue to work with your CSM, Flagstang.

I think the main thing is I have alot on my plate right now and this added thing is more then unwelcome. I just got married and I am house shopping and I am helping my family with some things and I just had to deal with a warranty thing with my new big screen and I was trying to get all the parts for the car that I wanted and im trying move up at my job and I am trying help my sister move from guam back here and I am trying to make it to my chiropractor and and and..... Now im hainvg to talk to people about paint and a battery and a magical clunk that only I can hear from the front end and every one keeps giving me the old "hey sorry to hear that but our hands are tied".

I was thinking about it today and every time I have brought this car in to be worked on something has gone wrong or gotten worse. I am just going to buy the stuff and do it myself.

Hey Flagstang,

Just curious on the outcome with your battery, did you end up buying one and installing yourself, if so any more corrosion problems??

I noticed mine was badly corroded at about 6 months new, I had to take the terminal area with the fuses off and give it a real good cleaning. It seamed ok for a few months, and now I'm having trouble with it holding a charge. If it sits over the weekend, I almost have to push start it.
I took it to a dealer today and they didn't have time to look at it and wanted me to bring it back, but now I'm having second thoughts after reading your post. I do all my own work on my car, but I just thought that this type of thing should be covered under the basic warranty.

I got it all fixed by the dealer and still have a little bit on the terminal. It should be covered by dealer. I do most of my own work also. I feel it's part of my job as a owner.
