Have a 16,000 mile car and noticed that the deck lid is showing stress spots and the whole deck is lifting in the two spots where the hinges are bolted to the underside of the lid. Has anyone seen this and addressed with Ford? It is possible from closing the trunk too hard.....looks terrible, please help with any ideas of how to handle with Ford. I just bought the car used this weekend.

Sounds like someone was playing rock star on the decklid. Research local dealers and try and pick one that might be a little simpathetic.
