The seat delete that is not a seat delete....
I made it. You all know that the 197 has a pass through, I blocked mine off to achieve the increased rigidity of the LS without loosing my seats. Then trimmed it so it is a seat delete that isn't.
When the seat is folded up it looks like stock.

Nice work! Do you have more detailed shots?

No more detailed shots sorry. The back and gap filler is 3/16" tempered peg board with a full length piano hinge. The bottom section folds up and the seats close easily over the top. I supposed I lost a bit of space in the trunk but I never pack it that full and I certainly don't use my Mustang for lumber as a matter of fact I don't use it everyday. I was not willing to loose the use of the back seats. and they weigh so little anyway it wasn't worth it for me. Many European luxury 2+2s have this kind of arrangement.

I sort of do sometimes. I've done many shows with tube amps, multiple guitars and gig bags loaded in. (Nothing on the roof though!!)
Then there's Mustang camping when I shoot over to the Coast. Because the drive down the canyon is too fun not to take Bullitt!

nice work! funny talking about hauling stuff- I am 'mr mom-ing' it this week as the wife had spent the weekend in the hospital, took my car to get groceries last night- had the trunk pretty full, but gotta say its got a bigger trunk than youd think by looking at it.
I hauled rockers home from a swapmeet in it just after we got it- they *just* fit with seats folded, just enough room to shift...

Those the Recaro Speed seats? Nice!
I've got some OMP Style to go in and have a couple of questions you might know the answers to?
1. How/where did you attach the front inboard seatbelt? It's on the OEM seats, so has to go somewhere else?
2. Did you have the airbag sensor in the front sensor seat? How did you retain or disable it?
3. Did you have OEM side airbags? Any way to disable them without having the dash light illuminate?
Thanks!

I bought those Recaros years ago for my M3. I bought some special mounts to put these in the Mustang and the mounts have attachment points for the belts just like the old seat did. Well I haven't solved the air bag warning light being on yet. I bought these test modules that were supposed to do the job but the idiot light is on. I'll figure it out later I have more pressing things first. I did read somewhere that you just wire in a resistor and the computer thinks everything is normal and the light goes out. i can't remember the value of the resistor, sorry.
I have an Edge for hauling stuff.

Were about 1/2 the price.
Was it the Planted bracket from 425 Motorsports that you got?

Now that I look at it, that extra tab must be for the belt (haven't really taken them out of the box yet).
