Remin Dash Kit
Remin Carbon Fiber Dash Kit-Bad Fit
Just installed my Remin Dash Kit (dark blue carbon fiber) in my 2013 convertible and I am so disappointed in the fit I am thinking about removing it, although I know that would be a real pain in the ***. It just looks like a cheap stick on. I read so many positive reviews that I took a chance and ordered it and now I am sorry I did. Anyone else have this?

The kits are garbage, the fitment is horrible. You basically have a choice to have a huge gap down the middle of the passenger side airbag, or put those pieces snugly together in the middle and have a huge gap around the outside edges. If you center the side pieces around the dash vents, then you have a gap on the left or right side of them. I bought a kit and installed it, there are huge gaps between the pieces when they are in place. I called CARID to complain, and they asked me to provide pictures. I spent about 1 hour taking pictures then adding my comments and complaints with pointers showing the gaps (sometimes up to 1/4"). I outlined my dash with silver welt to fill in some of the gaps, but there are still some places where you can see the black dash panels behind the dash pieces between the edges of the dash and the pieces. The lady at CARID agreed that the fitment seemed "off", but Remin basically told me to pound sand. They said they left those gaps for airbag deployment, and "wiggle room", and they don't return money of the part has been installed.. Not sure how you would know about the fitmnet issues without installing?!!??

I think since most people get the Real Carbon Fiber one which is almost the same color as the dash the fit issues are not as apparent. It screams out at you with the Real Dark Blue Carbon Fiber one I got. I am going to call them to complain today. Will report back on how I make out.
