Recaro Seat Opinions

Does anyone like the idea of painting the plastic harness holes on the 13-14 Recaro seats?

Color-matching to the car would be cool.

Just don't know if I should go to the trouble of getting paint matched and pulling them out.

It does look good.
I would be worried about the paint chafing or scratching off though through wear and tear and then it may look like a$$.

If the coating is very durable and would wear well then I would go for it.

i think i might consider hydrodipping some things in the engine bay and interior white carbon fiber instead of painting. once i get some more money ill see if i cant get it done and post some pics

Those seat inserts are stupid expensive if you wanted to replace them.

Painting them is not something I would do.

MAYBE plasti-dip, but even that, I'd be afraid that constant use of belts rubbing on the dip would wear it off, something that would probably also happen to paint in that area.

As expensive as the Recaro seats are in general, I think I wouldn't do anything to them that might turn off a potential next owner of the car.
Sometimes you just gotta think "resale"

Yeah I agree. I still have a list of mods before I'd do anything on the interior. And unless you have a harness, the seat belt wraps around the seat and not through the holes
