Recaro belt windows

Has anyone tried to remove the plastic windows to paint them? I would like to, I just don't know how they come out. Any thoughts?

Plastic seatbelt rings that are integrated into the seat. Basically the "hole" surround for the seat belts to loop through the recaro seats.

I'm assuming you're talking about the parts # 2, 3, 5, and 6 in the pic below, maybe even #4

I'd love to see them painted ... do it up!

(Just don't break them cuz apparently they're $150-165 EACH!!!!!)

I'm gonna try to take them off today. It seems like they are two pieces that just snap together.

The paint won't last with belt rubbing on the paint.

They're for the harness "windows", the regular seatbelts don't touch them ...

Yeah, belts won't touch them. They are being painted as we speak.

Yes, please outline the steps for getting these apart - I was afraid I would break tabs by pulling. Any tips are appreciated.
