Anyone have experience with this LOC? It's time to take the amp and sub out of the winter beater and put it back in the stang. Last summer I went nuts with a cheap LOC and the horrible roll off, this one supposedly doesn't allow the factory radio to cut the bass signal at higher volume.

Also I know some of you installed a PAC AOEM-FRD24.
http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=28 How's that working out and would you reccommended it over the above LOC?

I have the AOEM-FRD24 and from an ease of use standpoint its awesome. I'm also using a 4 channel amp for the internal speakers. But it does nothing for the Bass Roll Off. Its just an LOC that has 4 outputs that is plug and play. No cutting wires necessary. Oh and it has a remote wire for the amps as well that works excellent.

I'm using this for my bass roll off.

I can't say that it works better than the Audio Control unit but it did help. I have not listened to one of these personally. I have heard great things about the Audio Control products. For only 10 dollars more I would grab it if I was you. These Bass epicenters do help. You will have to spend some time tuning to get it just right, its not plug and go. But the guys at Audio Control will talk you through it I'm sure.

Just an update. I ordered the LC2i with remote unit a week ago but haven't installed it yet. As soon as I do I'll do a write up.

It worked good. My amp and sub are just way too much bass for my stock stereo so I put it back in my jeep. I had a cheap loc a while back that sounded like crap, this thing was great because it allowed you to tune it when the bass would start to roll off.
