the company told me I was one of the first to have the gear because I had called and asked about it so many times they shipped it out before it was even available to the public

 

when I say before it was available I only mean a couple of days

I was told it will be installed by 2 p.m. I am also told he got a letter today saying they can't will ship out within the next couple weeks that is very depressing

 

I went by first thing in the morning and he said it was on his desk at the other office so I flew down there in disbelief by the way I am shocked to hold it in my hand it's glorious it has 17 buttons you can customize well it has three that you can change and comes with a whole bag of buttons which is a very cool option I put to heated seats and a gauge but so I could adjust my gauges

What do you mean? Who is the dealer and what letter. BTW, we are not Apple. We don't make retailers hold the gear. If they have it they can sell it. However, the website was not ready for programming until yesterday in which case you'd have it but not be able to install it. Kind of like taking Viagra when you wife is on a trip.

I want I want I want ! I did not see it on crutchfield yet I am thinking that may be the best bang for your buck place to buy..

 

Crutchfield will carry it for sure. They may let you order and ship when it arrives. Not sure, check with them.

Hi,

The wait was long and we are sorry for that. However, to hear it described as "glorious" is exactly why we did not ship it 2 months ago. We needed it to be right. Looking forward to hearing how you like it once it is in. Don't forget to print the quick reference card when you program your module so you can remember what all your buttons do. BTW, you can add second functions to ALL the buttons on the bar, even the two you can't change the tops.

My dealer just told me the email he got said the would start shipping in a few weeks. I just told him ok because I got mine in and feel special

Im having the dnx890hd installed

 

Has anyone seen it next to an actual car interior? I am wondering if the color is an exact match for the interior piece it is replacing. It looks very light compared to what my GT500 looks like.

 

I will have pictures up later today I just checked on it again and he it just finished flashing it he was having trouble because I am apparently the first car to ever flash this model so they had to walk him through it but I will post updates asap

 

We were helping him. Issue is computer has XP and IE7 and we have a compatibility issue we will need to fix. We worked around it.
