How to get to trunk light wiring in 2013 GT?

I would like to add a couple of LED light bars inside the trunk of my 2013 GT to get more light. The problem is I don't want to tear up the whole trunk to get to the wiring nor do i want unsightly wires showing. Since I want the LEDs to go on and off with the trunk light, I need to tap in the wiring at the bulb. Not sure how the paneling comes apart. Any ideas?

I went behind the panel the latch is built into and spliced into the trunk light wires. Easiest and cleanest way

There are four fasteners. There is a large screw **** behind each tail lamp and two small push pin fasteners low in the trim panel. Very easy to remove the panel and access the wiring to the trunk lamp. I put a 36" white self adhesive led light strip under the rear deck tray. It really fills the trunk with light and looks hi tech.

I took the power off of the bulb in the trunk. Pulled it out far enough and then used T tap connectors.

Thanks for the input on how to remove the rear panel. I ordered this light bar which just came in today. Plan to install this weekend...

So I started to do the same thing in my GT. T'd into the existing harness but I think I popped a fuse and now have no power to the factory light. Anybody know which fuse or any ideas as to what I did?

Fuse position # 25; It is a 10A fuse/amp rating.
