When I plugged it in nothing happen. The left side of the panel was on but nothing else. When I turn the car on still just the left side And when it was off still just the left side was lit. The screen never turn on. What do you guys think? I guess it was defective

 

hopefully you followed the directions for installing it. does the Scosche startup screen go on before you see the HVAC controls?. but, yes it sounds like it is defective.

did you plug in both harnesses? there is one harness that end in a USB port. that one should be connected as well.

 

Yes I did follow the steps and it was defective I took it back and try a new one and there it goes it works like a charm and I love it
