Where would it be placed.I have a base model 2012 so I doubt I have one just want to make sure because I'm looking at trunk mats

 

If you have the shaker 1000 it's in plain sight...

If you don't have the Shaker 1000, then you have two subwoofers (really, they're woofers, but that's splitting hairs a bit) in the door panels at the bottom. The only audio-related component in the trunk is the main amp, on the passenger wall of the trunk behind the carpeting.
