By comparison, I probably went a little overboard but I installed the GT500 wheel, went to a short throw shfiter with a Speed Dawg shift ****, upgraded to NTO leather seats, installed a brushed aluminum dash kit, and painted several interior panels to a contrasting gunmetal finish, and put the small tribar ponies in the door panel. Also put UPR pedal covers to match. Now it is MY CAR

Did you recover your leather door inserts? How do you remove them? Any details would be appreciated.

Hi CJ, I actually did not remove the door inserts but rather the whole interior door panel and carefully masked it off. I did the same to the rear quarter interior at the speaker moldings. I wanted to match the color I used for the center console and door trims part (like the window switches and door handle pockets). With the exception of the center console, I used an adhesion promoter "Bull Dawg" which I had used on my last car to refresh the plastic panels on my '04 Convertible. This stuff is great and will make just about any paint or vinyl dye adhere like it was OEM. In fact, I did the handbrake center portion this way and after more than a year or using the handbrake several times a day, it has not chipped or rubbed off, and looks like the day I shot it

Hi Amplifier28, You can get them pretty easily from a lot of vendors. I got mine from Ninosport and think they were about $30 They are the '94-03 Fender Tribars and are the perfect size. You need to cut off the alignment pin which is easy because it is plastic. The automotive grade 2 face tape is strong enough to hold them in place but just make sure you get them straight up and down or you may have to live with it. I recommend if you do this, to shoot some Bull Dawg (see previous post) to the tribar for about 10 minutes before installing them. I put a piece of pcv pipe wrapped in a micorfiber cloth in the door handle to put pressure on the tribars overnight. These have been on for over a year now. One did fall off but that is because I first put them on before I painted the door inserts and used the same tape to reattach afterwards. The Bull Dawg really refreshed the stickness of the tape

Indeed it is. Pardon the long time to answer.
