Background Noise from the Electronics Package

I hopped in my car the other day and set it to accessory mode to mess with the MyColor settings. While I was in there, I could faintly hear the radio in the background even though the radio was turned off.

Is the noise normal? Is there anything I can do about it? I've never heard it in any other car I've owned with a factory navigation system installed.

I noticed this with mine also the other day when I connected my iPod for the first time. When you select USB and nothing is playing I can hear the sat radio faintly even with the volume turned right down.

I think there were a number of 2010's that had this problem, too. Your dealer should know how to fix this. I don't remember how they fixed it, but there is a fix. You could try searching older posts to see the details.

Thanks for the info. I didn't see anything when I searched before I posted, but I'll definitely look again.

Found a couple of threads mentioning it in the 2005-2009 section of the site, but no solution...
