2010 Mustang V6 - gauges cluster take-off help!
Hi,
I have some dirt behind the glass of the gauges and it's very irritating so I want to take off the gauges and clean them. Has anyone tried to takeoff the gauges and install them back safely

yes, easy, the front bezel pulls straight off, make sure the steering wheel is all the way down first, then the cluster unbolts, disconnect the wire harness and bring it in the house to disassemble & clean

no problems at all, no need to disconnect the batt either..
pulling off the bezel is really the hardest part. just be careful wit the cluster once you have it out, don't want to bang it around
edit: you might be able to take the lens off w/o removing the whole cluster too..
don't remember, haven't done it in 3 yrs

thanks alot man. i did it yesterday and was all easy.. The ugliest part is that after i took it off and got it inside to clean the cloudy plastic..i couldn't clean at all with the normal cleaners. i will try to find a plastic polisher to get it clear again.
May i know where did you get the schematics from? i need them to change the ac door actuator which makes clicking sounds everytime i turn on the car or ac.
