I plan on leaving all the 2012 buttons in place .. both setup buttons and cruise buttons. I'll then put my OK momentary switch next to the setup buttons on the dash.
I think the SJB does control the signal for the Cruise Control illumination on the cluster .. so it may be worth while updating the SJB with 2013 AS BUILT if possible.

That is not bad.
I haven't given up on programming the PCM. If my guy can't come up with anything, then I hope zeroaviation can do something.
But as I said before, I'm keeping it.

I'll keep my eyes open for a PCM. I can live without track apps for now. I'll hold onto my 2013 buttons and steering wheel.
Between the cluster and odometer and PATS and 2013 switches its getting expensive. Throw a PCM and more tech hours on top of that and it's getting even more expensive.

They may not have sold it to me, just like the nav. And even if they did, I'd still have the same issues.
Zeroaviation thinks he could rig something. He just hasn't found a cluster to play with yet.

The more I think about it, the more I'm not sure I'd trust a circuit I'd rig up myself with the cruise control. I'd be deathly afraid I wouldn't be able to control the acceleration.
The directional buttons in a 2013 light switch housing seems like a fair trade off though.

I'm wondering, on the brake pedal position switch, if you interupt the yellow-green wire without energizing the violet-white wire, would the cruise cancel without activating the brake lights?

The cluster can be had for pretty cheap online ... However .. I do believe there is either a $300 or $400 core charge. Not sure if they would take a 2012 Cluster as a core for a 2013 cluster.

dmhines, in the engineering test mode on the cluster, all the codes can be seen along with all the guage tests. Might be useful to your tech. Also, when it checks the lights, cruise does indeed light up.
You can enter the test mode by holding down the OK button before start up and holding it down when you turn the car on. Keep the button pressed until engineering test mode comes up, then let go. Cycle through the test screens using the ok button.
Nothing new from my tech guy. One week now with the new cluster and no issues. I mostly use the trip guage and fuel economy, so I don't really use the others anyway.

If you are updating with 2013 data, you will need the 2013 switch handy. I don't think the old cruise will work properly otherwise.
Did you tech say that he is able to dowload 2013 data into your car?

OK .. just got back from Dealer.
Tech here had no problem manually loading 2013 AS BUILT. I had him update the Cluster, SJB and Body Module with AS BUILT from a 2013 car equipped same as mine.
However .. none of those updates changed anything.
1) Track Apps has displays .. but nothing working
2) Additional Gauges not working
3) Cruise Illumination not working.
Apparently the 2013 PCM is going to be required for a full retrofit.
One thing I noticed is after the tech loaded the 2013 AS BUILT into my cluster .. I now have REAR PARKING AID option to turn on and off ... I don't have those sensors in my car but I do see in my trunk where the harness plugs in if I ever wanted to add them.
I'll keep my eyes open for a used 2013 PCM out of a GT .. and maybe try that one of these days ... unless Jim or Zero get to it before me.

Interesting finds.
Easiest way to get this done is finding a KWC2 or WYN3 PCM and then re-learn pats after install. Looking at the two tunes, there are some differences, mostly in timing tables. So you could run the stock 13 tune, but I would NOT recommend it. This is due to the 13+ coyotes not having oil squirters.
The 2011 - 14 PCM's are the same hardware (mostly anyway) just different Firmware (sorta). You could get the firmware changed, but doing this would be difficult as Ford has some limitation on what Techs can and cannot do at the dealership.
I'm still researching as I get time, and digging for a cluster.
PCM WYN3 from ford $464 plus $100 core. If you already had the SCT tuner, might be worth it.
I wish SCT would get off their *** and fix the PATS disable function on 12 and newer PCM's.
