wheel&tires

Will nitto 555 285 40 18 fit on a stock 2010 gt rim?

You could put it on but it is really too wide for the wheel to work the best.

Will it work, yes.. will it be safe, no. You can pick up 18x10's at American muscle for a real good price.

Wow these posts are over and over again..like its the twilight zone or something. I almost pointed you over to the search button..however.

A 285/40/18 Nitto 555 requires a 9.5" wide minimum rim width...so that should answer your question. Also the 9.5 would not be optimum...10" would. Think about it for a second... You have a tire that is 285mm wide or over 11" wide and you want to stick it on a rim that is only 8" wide.....so no it won't work.

It won't even work...I can assure you most tire installers won't install this tire on this rim for liability reasons.

This would make it a lot easier to check your tire pressure.
