Two NEW releases for 2010+ Mustangs Exterior
Magnets are the same ones we have always used - they are press-fit into location, but we switched to a galvaneal strike plate probably 3 years ago to aid in corrosion resistance. Unfortunately, magnets=ferrous=always a possibility of corrosion, but we have always had good luck with these. I'm sitting here looking at a door that is from prior to the new strike plate that was in the elements for a long time - the magnets look perfect, the strike plate took the abuse, which of course is replaceable if anyone ever needed one. But ever since the switch, this had become a non-issue.

1) remove screw
2) remove strike plate
3) rub strike plate with steel wool for 30 seconds
4) replace loctite on screw
5) screw strike plate back into place
Magnets look good as new. No issues even after a NJ gas attendant slammed the door shut like he was playing hand ball with the fuel door.
Glad the install went well for you. Looks nice on the CS - I need some of those body parts
Did you have any questions regarding the instructions? I wrote them to best explain it as I thought possible, but I'm open to clarifying anything that wasn't clear before we print a large run of them.

Instructions were short n sweet to the point worked well for me! If you take your time and drill slowly it makes a hole perfect for a push pin so you could remove it and reinstall stock door for trade in needs. LOL can't wait for tail lamp panel and bezels! Excellent quality as usual Thanks

I work at a restorazation and customazation shop in Colorado. I designed them and had them made. The opening around the 5.0 is trimmed in red reflective! Can do that in any body color they run about $75 plus shipping. Was talking to Marcello at Silver Horse Racing bout carring them! I really like the way they came out!
No its not done yet just wanted to see it installed I still have a plan to finish it my own way! I manage a rest and customazation shop but keep that color in mind when you see updated pictures soon Tony!
