So is the "do it yourself tail light & side marker tint" on AM, just regular window tint you can buy in the stores? Are you paying for the convenience of them being per cut to line up with your lights??

 

If I'm not mistaken the AM tint is vinyl tint that is a little bit thicker than normal window tint. Not sure though... I had mine painted.

 

It's definitely thicker than window tint. I bought them from AM and installed on my '11. I did the tail lights, 3rd brake and side markers front & rear.

^ :\ idk what's his prob but tinted taillights are the bomb, just don't get stupid with em & BLACK them.

 

Sucks that in FL the state troopers won't hesitate to pull you over and give you $116 for em. *knock on wood* I just put mine back in that I spray tinted.

I did have the vinyl overlays on my. 01 to tint my head lights and only once did one come up off of the corner after a bad storm, just redid it Lol

 

I've yet to see any of my friends be pulled over for tinted lights. I've got one DA friend who tried to use green turn signals, he got pulled over QUICK
