Well it looks like I'm buying the 2011 V6 tomorrow (Just sold my 05' convertible last week). I want those 13' style lights! How do we make this happen? ??

You buy them on ebay. They are plug in and play. I know as I have them. Be prepared to pay for them as the price for them is still way to high.

But what about the gap...THE GAP!!!

Raxiom could make 2013-14 style lights that are the same shape as the 2010-12 lights so they'd fit properly and fill THE GAP.

Come on Raxiom - if you make them, I will buy!

Last I heard they were unable to make them due to copyright laws.

I agree. A very slight change in design can avoid copyright issues. I just don't think there is anyone jumping on it.

I don't think AM/Raxion is going to be selling them for the 2010-2012. I have emailed them twice and even written a post about their availability in the future and have never heard a word from AM. I guess they want to sell the replacement tail lights they are already making/selling for the '10-'12. So much for the customer.

Ford has a design patent on the 13 taillight. I would imagine that they would vigorously defend said patent if the only mod was to the bottom for the 10-12 bumper. Only solution is still like what we did, swap the whole back of the car over to the 13-14 pieces if you want it to look right.

We did this way back in summer 2012, nothing new Still about 3k new, of course used is now available saving money.
