I've come to the realization that the new tail lights are prissy, the 10/12 rear lights look muscle, while the new lights look female.

I agree. The 2013+ rear does not look as muscle car as the 2010-2012

The back lights of 2010-2012 was one of the reasons I almost got a Challenger instead of a mustang, but because of the redesign changes that was talked about for the last 4 month of 2011, I decided to wait, and I'm glad I did.

Some might say its stupid, but for me the taillights( plus the plastic diaper ) of 2010-2012 were so bad, I would of gladly go with the challenger, as it might be bigger ,slower etc. but it is a total package, with no flaws in its look. But as always its just a personal opinion.

My dilemma was I liked the red 10-12 rears in the day, but when I saw the 13 rears at night that did it for me. I hope this Axiom project does not change the look too much. The blacked out look is nice on black or SG cars.

Thanks for the suggestion!
Just received this reply back from Shane @ AM.
I suggested the MMD trim idea to allow those of us who wanted to do the stock 2013 taillight conversion

I like the tinted look of this, but your angles are Wayyy to sharp. You need to round them out, and it'll look 100% better.

This is with my overlays that I designed.

These aren't mine although I have to say they don't look that bad! I'm just waiting for a trim that would take care of the gap! and than I'm getting the taillights for sure!

I see. So they might make a stick on frame that would cover the gap, is that right?

It looks close, but he is going to have to raise the lower lip and full it in, otherwise you're still going to have a gap.

Located In NJ 07722

The tail light may work but I have no way of testing the fitment. I have a 13 so all I would need is the bumper and just use my tail lights
