I like the fact that the shaker blends in a little instead of being like BAM! here I am.

Too busy for me with the hood pins, spears, Stripe and shaker. I'd get the stripe, drop the pins and spears

I am ok with the pins and shaker but I would drop the spears instantly. As for stripes I think white is one of the few colors that looks better without stripes. Pure and sinister at the same time.

I went to see my installer today. After much debate I have decided against the White CF stripe. Going with the same stripe just different vinyl.

Pearl White w/Metallic Red Stripe

an Exact match of the 2013 ROUSH stripe vinyl colors but in the 2012 RS3 design.

I actually am installing stripes on the hood. not the one I photo s shopped but something similar. They finish them tomorrow. They actually look good with the spears.. If I end up not liking them I will pull the spears but put the California special in black letters in its place. Will post pics soon.

Looks pretty cool, but I still there there might be a little too much going on with the hood.

I will give it some time and if I decide that it may be to much I will pull off the spears and put California special in black letters in its place.

Way too busy for me personally. Too much going on. I love stripes, but at a certain point it becomes tacky. Not to sound racist, but its the kind of thing I see around here that our south of the border friends do to vehicles. Stripes everywhere, multiple emblems proclaiming the same thing, stickers all over the windows, etc.

But that's just me. Sometimes less is more when it comes to acknowledging what the car is. The side GT/CS stripes and the faux gas cap are plenty to let people know that its a California Special. Personally I would lose the hood spears and definitely the decals on the rear window.

Theres a Dodge Ram around here somewhere that literally has 2 dozen Dodge, Ram, or Hemi chrome emblems on it. I swear it was as if Carroll Shelby himself modified it.

While getting opinions from posts and others I have found two camps. The ones who like little bling and/or stock and the ones who like some bling and style. I went with my camp of some style and bling. I do understand the other camp and respect that so thank you all for your views.

Hey, don't take any opinion I post personally, its just observations. I don't have any room to talk, I haven't done anything to mine. Its bone stock and just like hundreds of others out there, nothing at all to distinguish it from the them, just plain Jane. But I like it, and you like yours, that's all that matters.
