That was my thought as well. I have always been a fan of the SVTPP stripes on the Shelby and that is what I tried to copy. In fact, my current Shelby is a SVTPP stripe delete car. I am adding the stripes on as soon as the remainder of the stripes get here.

 

The color of the stripes is a good match for the color base of the car, however you over done on the stripes job (too much going in on )..

but only matters if you like it like that!

Dont get me wrong ,
Those skinny stripes look great , but only on a Shelby.
For mustang gt, the best bet is wider stripes, lemans or single wide shelby snake stripe.

It was part of the MOPRO prime package,but if you look around there are some kits available with just the hood stripe. Go back and check some of the venders referred to on this site.

Im doing a brushed silver on my car Feb 9th

You can get them through Tousley Ford for about $1k. There is also a company called BMC Extremes that sells them. I purchased one OEM piece that didn't cost much E-bay and then the side stripes from BMC to compare the color and quality. They looked identical in color and quality appeared to be equal. The kit from BMC is about $500.

Just one more question. What is the difference between Rear Lid W/GT500 Spoiler Kit and Rear Lid w/Low Profile Spoiler Kit. Don't know really which one to chose. I just want want factory looking strips

 

When I called them they told me if I was running the stock GT500 wing to use the w/GT500 kit. The other is for those running the 3D Carbon wing which is lower and not as large. I would call them with any questions. They suck at returning e-mails.

If I recall it's the other way around. 3D500 is larger and higher than the GT500. I checked. :-)

The white part is the base color of the car. Each white stripe is 10" wide, with a 2" seperator down the middle. The gold is a matte gold carbon fiber vinyl.
