Gabe- i've been considering this mod, still hesitant though cause i've read on other threads the lens is of poor quality and appears to deteriorate over time. maybe by now Ford has gotten the parts supplier to upgrade it's stock with better quality. i know for a fact the 2015 MY will continue offering this option. roughly what was the co$t? can you post the part #s, thx.

$318 shipped for both mirrors, gotta transfer the painted covers from the stock mirrors, there are some small plastic tabs that need to be released, I used a long thin flat-head screwdriver to do that, sticking it in-between the glass and the housing after moving the glass away from that part (tilting it in the other direction)

I got the part numbers and more info from joshuabrown's thread here:

Yup.
The hardest part was removing the painted covers off the old mirrors.
There are 3 tabs across the top and 1 at the bottom ...

Looks awesome, I love mine but I also hate them.

The lights are going to burn out and you're going to get water spots in the projector, it's inevitable.

Within 1.5 years my driver side light has gone out (replaced under warranty) and both now have water spots on the inside. I'm going to get it replaced but I'm pretty sure it's just going to happen again
