New Engine Bay with CAI and Steeda Tune
Well after a loooong time of wanting to do this I finally did. Had my coil covers on for over 2 years now and since then always wanted to do this. But anyway I put my CAI on and loaded the Steeda 93 tune and did my splash of red to the engine. I think it looks great and was thinking of doing something red to the intake tubes also but decided against it. To much red if I did that and would look to busy.

How did you do the lettering and trim? I've been thinking about doing mine, but I couldn't figure a good way to do it without making a mess or hand painting it.

The trim is all laser cut to fit, all I had to do was peel the back of the 3M tape and stick it on as straight as I could.

I'm looking at a stainless bundle at EmblemPros, but haven't made up my mind yet.

Uhhh sure? I still had to peel the back off without messing up the 3M tape and stick them on as straight as I could. Took a few hours with cleaning and all. Plus I don't like the way it looks when its painted. It has the indents of the words and just doesn't look right to me. Using this it made it flush with the paint, which is what I like. That's where I bought these from. Its good stuff.

Loving it so far. Although I have some issues. I have an auto and my town has a speed limit of 25 and the tune holds third from 20mph to 40. Which is kind of annoying because it feels like I'm revving the crap out of the engine. I kinda wish it would shift up earlier instead of holding the revs at like 2000rpm. Only cure is to go faster and make it to shift into 4th. And when it warms up when I come to a complete stop it makes a loud banging sound and I get a quick jolt from the car. Other then those two things I love it.

Shoot Gus or myself an email and we can do a revision to your tune. We can change those parameters to better your situation.
You can reach me at tim @ steeda.com (no spaces).
Best Regards,
TJ

You should contact Steeda.. but good luck with that. I've been trying to contact gus for over a week now for datalogging info and I just gave up. I work 3 jobs so I'm to busy to be constantly checking my email and calling them for him to contact me. I would think sending me info on what he wants me to data log and me sending what I got would be a two day thing but guess not. There's pid's and all this other stuff that I have no idea on what to do and no one seems to want to help me so whatevs.

Their tunes hit hard and are safe; it made mine a beast power wise. If I went manual tomorrow, I'd go Steeda 93 all the way. but they specialize in manual cars. I'm going with Amazon. AED & Brenspeed also has good feedback about their A6 tuning.
