You can do your mirrors, then spray some clear coat on them. It will leave that glossy finish

Do you think it would look good?

I'm just wondering if I do that, will it take away from the mach look, but none the less it wouldn't hurt to try.

I don't think it will take away from your mach look. When I had my 99 i always wanted to do it, but wasn't confident enough in my painting skills to pull it off.
