This weekend, I removed the grille, and painted all the white parts behind it black. Looks much better.

I thought about that after I put the grille back on. I'll be taking a picture or two this coming weekend at a car show.

BTW, it's real paint - not plasti-dip.

Beautiful ride man. Love everything but the Shelby lettering, they add nothing to the looks of the car. My opinion.

I found a decent price on new black-bezel headlights (Auto Parts Warehouse, $139 each). Here they are installed:

Other recent mods are:
- Kenwood head unit/Scosche panel
- Kenwood speakers
- 2009 GT500 leather steering wheel
- Gentex auto-dimming mirror
- Eibach Adjustable Sway Bar Kit

I'm currently in the process of making my own front splitter using 1/4-inch ABS plastic sheet.

Awesome car! That's the hood I've been looking at.

Word of caution - Cervini STILL hasn't made the long-promised Ram Air kit for it, and since you have a 13, you can expect to wait a LONG time (*if* they ever make it). Every time it rains, my engine compartment gets all crapped up. While washing the car one day last summer, after a particularly hot and nasty week, I cleaned almost half a pound of bugs out of the engine compartment and the bottom side of the hood. I was almost expecting to find small children and shrubbery under there too.

I would go with Tru-Fiber if they have a Ram Air kit already done for their '13 hoods (if they have '13 hoods). I cannot in good conscience recommend Cervini, although the hood does admittedly look rather awesome when it's closed.

I appreciate the heads up. I will avoid them. I really like the BMC mongoose hood, although it is very pricey.
