How long to get personalized plates?

Hey guys, I hail from Pennsylvania and I just ordered personalized plates. I was curious how long it took those of you who have them to get them even if you're not from PA. They told me 8-10 weeks and I'm 2 weeks in. I was curious how long it really took you guys...

What are your plates going to say when you do get them?

Well, I thought about getting something specific to the Mustang but I figured that if I have kids I don't want 14STANG tag on my minivan so I just went with my initials haha. I know it's a bland plate idea but I figured I can use it and transfer it for years to come .

In NY here, so it may be different. I ordered my plates the second week of April. I was charged two days later, received my registration a week and a half later, and the plates about a week after that. "Instance" will be going on next weekend.

Update- I just checked the PennDot website that lets you plug in plate #'s to see if they're available for the taking and mine are officially taken as of Friday. So, that's a good thing; it looks like they are registered to me now. Now the wait begins..

It took about 2 months to get mine in Louisiana. The website says 12-16 weeks, so I was surprised when they showed up so early!

Scott- Your car looks great it white. A lot of people are surprised to see how good these Mustangs look in white. I love them in white it suits them well. I have black but if I could chose over again I would chose either race red, that darker blue or white.

BTW, 12-18 weeks? I thought PA was bad at 8-10. What takes these guys so long to do stuff...

In Missouri, I waited 6 weeks. I chose a "USMC Retired Military" plate, made them non-vehicle specific and they were free. That way, I can shuffle them between cars/trucks without having to re-apply when I trade again.
