GT500 style hood for GT?

GT500 style hood for GT?
hey all,
I'm interested in putting a GT500 hood on my '12 GT, but not at all interested in the GT500 bumper/valance that seems to be required to match the hood lines on the front edge.
any ideas? would it be possible to just cut a hole in the V6/GT hood to add the vent?

There's a guy in the...(I think) '05-'09 gt/cs that took the little grille that's on top of the hood of the gt500 and put it on his stock hood. However it looked really good bc it's a smooth hood. I don't know how it would look on the '10+ years since y'all have the power some looking thing
