I like the second pic...looks pretty clean. Can you just remove the lower all together without cutting?

if you want it to look stupid, yes. You'll see all the tabs from the grille, as well as parts of the existing bumper cover that aren't "open"

yah or nay
That would look awesome. A lot like the 05-09 agent 47 grille. That would be really really cool. Plus you could say you did it yourself!

I've ordered the Roush upper and lower (both bar type) grilles from CJ Pony Parts back in October and I've already received the upper one. Top quality piece and looks great . GT Mustangs coming to this region don't have fog lights in the upper grille so the upper grille with only the pony emblem doesn't look great for me.

Couple of weeks back, CJ Pony Parts has advised me that the lower one will be available during December so we might hear something very soon.

Anyway, my car is arriving in March 2013 so I still have the time . I've also ordered the Roush rear valance and Roush axle back

As for the Roush lower open grille, I assume that it should be available somehow especially for Roush Mustangs owners (in case of accident of bumper cover damage). I mean it's a body spare part that needs to be sold separatly unless Roush is planning to seel the bumper cover as a kit

For those of you wanting to switch to an upper grille without fogs, Raxiom just released a fog light kit that's just like the cali special fogs but are already HID (at least I think so, that's what H11 bulbs are right?).

Here's the link:

One for the V6 as well:

Same as other kit I posted, down to the last screw.

Not HID.

In regards to people asking about the Roush lower grille opening, not the slotted one that's already for sale.... don't hold your breath on it coming out for sale al a carte. I was at the PRI show in Orlando yesterday, saw the Roush booth and asked them if they were coming out with it. According to them, they can't make it readily available to the public, as they have special tactics on how to install it where they don't have to take the bumper off and it's only available with their in-house Roush cars... I told them they need to look into the possibility of making it possible for people like us to buy and install ourselves. Now that I know that, I"m going to probably do an MCA grille or something. First things first, going the cheap route and do a black surround for my V6 grille. I'll post pics once it's done.

Thanks!

I'm not going to worry about it till spring and then make a choice. I need to start the engine work plus I have no idea what to do about the tires and rims, still on summer tires.

Thanks for that update. Saves me a call to Roush, as I ordered my upper/lower grille back in early October.
