What do you guys think about these grilles? factory Fogs can bolt up to them if you want. I'm tempted:

Here's a little news for those of you wanting an open lower grille:

I called CDC today becasue I really like their high flow upper grille but really would only buy it if there was a matching (or at least close) lower grille. They said they have one designed and ready for production...however they can't justify making it right now because they don't believe they have the market (he said they'd have to sell more than 1,000 just to break even) to justify spending money on the tooling. They presently don't have a timeline for putting it into production.

They were very polite to me (even though I probably sounded kind of lame complaining about something as trivial as a lower grille) and they did say that the fact that since 2014s are starting to roll out, hopefully they can start evaluating whether or not it's feasible for them to put the lower grille into production.

I think they're right, especially with the Roush open lower grille being available already ... and they want $300 for THAT ... a piece of oval plastic molded just SO ... I mean, come one ... $300 ???

Roush is obviously trying to recoup their tooling/development costs much quicker than 1,000 units ...

On a related note, I think the CDC upper and the Roush lower would look pretty good together

What do you mean the Roush open lower grille is available already? The only place I've seen it available is Hillbank Motorsports' Ebay page, and they only had 4 available... And I doubt Roush knew they would be selling them to non-Roush car owners IMO

Saw them on eBay, not sure who was selling them, but Mikeyfitz got the last one I think, after I posted up a link to the sale ... a link that I got from this thread I believe ... lol

Ok, I was just checking cuz that's all I saw too... I wish Roush would release it for aftermarket, if not I'm going to have to get it from Ebay if/when they come available again.

Btw, I'm excited to see your suspension mods when you're done... Our cars are very similar, and I just ordered my Eibach pro kit springs and BMR adj panhard bar. I'll probably get them installed next week and then move on to the rest of the BMR suspension mods that I plan on doing myself.

I have the Boss 302 grille on mine with the GT lower grille. I had to get a GT grille surround, since mine is a V6. Here's a pic.

Dude that looks clean. The saturation in your photos is spot on! What gear you using?

I like them. I have the Roush Stage 3 and the grill is similar to those. I think it looks great. The fact that you can bolt up fogs is awesome too.

As far as the photos go, I actually took those with my iPhone and I adjusted the colors to make it look like you're not viewing it through a camera lens using iPhoto. As far as gears go, I'm running stock 3.31's right now, but I'm considering upgrading. How do the 3.31's work with the 3.7L?

Well,...it looks good. Metal is better than plastic.
