The lowers are one-piece and you remove them from the back, I'm assuming.

A pic of the new ones that I'm assuming you're getting, from HERE :

LOL, you are awesome.

That is one mean looking grille. Love the simple and aggressive wide mouth look to it.

What HID kit did you order? I am planning this same swap for mine once I rebuild the cash reserves back up...

Just a 35w 4500k kit from DDM tuning. I have a feeling it's going to be whiter than the headlights, and I'll need to replace the stock bulbs with something off their shelf that is "4500k"

btw... le vroom.

Look awesome! Im seriously contemplating if I should get rid of my fogs but the problem is that I love these new LED fogs, but I love the CDC grill a little more

You need the bottom grille section now to match the top, but that is one great looking GT.

BTW, I installed the fog light kit today. Front end really looks perfect now, except for that lower grille. My question is how the hell do I get that lower grille off? I tried to just yank if off like the upper, and there was no way it was coming off, at least that easily. I know I'm pretty dang weak, but still.......

So the upper grille and the new grille were that easy to install? Yank old one off and pop new one in?

Bumping this just cuz I'm now thinking of certain grilles which will require the bumper to be removed, and I saw the video linked earlier in the thread AND the video below which makes it seem pretty easy, but I'm wondering if I can remove the bumper with the lower splash shield still attached to it if I just undo the rear bolts that hold the shield to the car.

I have the Roush chin splitter installed which requires sandwiching the splash shield in-between the Roush splitter and the remaining part of the OEM splitter, and I'd really rather not take those things apart at the bottom of the bumper cover ...

I just did the grills on my daughters 13, V6. Thinking about it, I wouldn't see any reason you couldn't leave it attached at the front and take the bumper cover. The only thing I can think of is the added weight along the bottom of the bumper cover as you remove it. As long as its supported or you have a set of helping hands I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks for chiming in ... I'm gonna try this soon, I still have to order the grilles, and I'm thinking of some tinting film to darken the fog lights a bit so they blend in more behind the new grille ...

Just a reminder that the stock grilles can literally be yanked right off the car.
