$400 is not unreasonable. I'm having a 12" Super Snake stripe with 1/2" pinstripes and GT500 style rocker stripes installed. It will cost between $300 and $350, with a 6 year installation and material fading/defect warranty in Saint Louis.

Added a GT500 style rocker panel stripe today

Did this myself. It was my first time installing vinyl stripes. I think they came out ok. Not perfect but for my first time I'm pretty happy. My lower back is not so happy... Anyway I got these from Bigworm. They came pre-cut and fit really nice.

Haha I was going to say it would look much better with matching side stripes versus the black ones. Guess you already knew that

I would have taken that stripe off the day i got the hood stripes but I though that the factory stripe would have been a pain to remove and the weather this summer was brutally hot. Waited till I had a cooler day. Turned out that the OEM stripe came right off and a tiny bit of glue was left. I used Automotive GOO Gone and it came right off.
