Got my stripes done today

I went with the 3M 10 inch full length in Gloss white. I'm very happy with the finished product. After asking around here on the boards and calling around a few places I think the price I paid was very reasonable. They charged me $400. These are some iPhone shots for now. I will shoot some more with my Nikon in a few days.

Those look great. If you want to add a bit of flair, add a red pinstripe to those stripes to add some pop.

Here you go. These are just crappy phone picks. I will have to do a shoot with my DSLR in a day or so.

Looks good. I am debating what color I want. Thought about gloss black on my sterling gray, but that white looks nice and pops.

This is the first SG with white that I have seen. Interesting looking. $400 sounds like a great price too.

For about a year I thought about doing stripes. At first I was leaning towards silver, then matte black. Then for a while I was thinking metallic dark ruby red. And then I remembered that first Sterling Gray I ever saw at a car show in my town was a SG GT500 with white stripes. You can google around and see for yourself. Its the contrast of the two colors that I love. Don't get me wrong, The black stripes are stealthy and cool. But SG is a dark color and in some cases I felt you couldn't even see the stripes in low light. I am very happy with my choice. Now I just need to order the double stripe for the rocker panel.

And I know i have to still peal the factory stripe off the side. Maybe when the weather cools down.

Enjoy folks.

I edited this post to include a B&W shot

I like that you went all the way down to the bottom in the front. Not a lot of people do that nowadays. I would also like to add that the last shot you posted is my favorite out of all of them.

Thank you Stevedotmil. I always love the full length stripes on the current generation GT500 mustangs. My biggest dilemma what choosing the color. I almost went with gloss black or red. Very happy that I went with the gloss white.

I also love that last shot in black and white. I used an infared filter in photoshop to give it the dramatic effect. Glad you liked it.
