I got mine thru CJPonyparts.com, and everyone drops ships thru CDC.

http://www.cjponyparts.com/3d-carbon...0-2011/p/RS10/

For the price I like it.

CDC has issues sometimes. Some people have crappy paint, or missing pieces, or other issues. I have no issues, and my spoiler was 99.999% perfect color match. I'm a photographer, and painter, so I can tell, no one else can, lol.

I know a few who ordered theirs, and none have had any issues.

I believe at highway speeds around 70mph it provided 250-300lbs of downforce. I know my *** feels more planted.

Argh, I want it but with my CS I don't want to have to body fill 4 holes on a brand new car. Anyone done this switch?

Just find a wrecked 2010+ with either no spoiler or factory decklid spoiler and scoop that up if its not damaged beyond cosmetic. Then mount the gt500 spoiler on there and then you can sell your other decklid with the CS spoiler. It will sell for sure, heck post for a reasonable price and i might pick it up haha

Only real trouble there though is just worrying about repainting

Double-EDad - thanks for the report and the pics. I'm really gald to learn that the the GT500 wing lines up perfectly with the existing holes (CS pedestal wing needs to drill additional new holes, so I think I will not go that direction now).
Uin2it - thank you for your info and pics, too. Nice to see a less expensive alternative, and I love the fact that it come pre-painted! Can you please let me know how the paint quality is, and maybe take a few more pics please? I would really appreciate it. I have a Race Red GT, and I would want the paint to be an exact match, of course.
BOTH look GREAT, very nicely done. Thank you both, very much, for sharing. It's my next mod, for sure.

Digital Synapse - Thanks for that link. I am review it, pre-painted, from CJPony. But in the pictures of my color (Race Red), it does not have the black in the center of the wing (like the stock OEM part). Does your have the black? Can you please post pics? Thanks!

Its only that way in the pic, on the white one too!
But my white spoiler has the black and im positive your red one will too!

I will be taking some more pics this weekend once I get my ROUSH side splitters installed.
Paint quality is good and it is hard to color match white, but they did a gteat job! Ur red will be better match and u will be happy with paint quality....looks stock!

Very cool, thank you! I will either go with MRT-Direct, or CJPony, pre-painted, ready for me to perform simple install. I'll try to search for a coupon code, and see which one can go lowest! Thanks again, yours looks great.

I might go the MRT direct route then too.

So he brings up a good point about build quality/paint quality.

For those of you with the 3DC spoiler, how is it in this regard, from 1-10 scale, 10 being OEM factory? How would you rate build quality and paint quality?

There are two Gurney Flap designs.... one is on all the gt500's and the other design is only on the svtpp spoiler. 3d carbon molds the flap in the svtpp style in their spoiler.

Well, I took the plunge, I simply could not wait. I ordered my 3dCarbon GT500 wing for my 2011 GT, pre-painted (Race Red), from CJPony (www.cjponyparts.com). BUT WAIT! On-line the price was $330 (including shipping). However, by calling in my order (800-888-6473), the phone price was $297 (including shipping)...that's 10% off...NICE. I will post pics - before & after - once completed, 1-2 weeks. Thanks for all of the help and pics, everyone in this thread!

Installed my new GT500 rear wing by 3dCarbon today (for my 2011 GT), I'm very happy with the results.
