Anyone remove the gt/cs stripes?

I have a new mustang gt/cs coming in black and although I like the look of the matte stripe against the gloss black, I was wondering if anyone has removed the stripe. I was thinking a black 5.0 badge would look good if I did decide to remove the stripe at some point down the road.

I dont have a CS, but I removed the side stripes on my pony package V6. It was real easy with the use of a heat gun to soften up the adhesive. There was still some residue of the glue, so I just used some rubbing alcohol and it came right off.

I have a black GT/CS as well. I was considering this. I too think the 5.0 badge would look nice. But I'm hesitant because once I do it theres not going back.

I have thought about removing my stripes on my Cali but don't think i'm going too. I did get the 5.0 badges and put them on the bulge of my hood towards the windshield. They look awesome there.

Very clean. I like it. Where did you get your 5.0 badges?

My wife is the opposite, she fell in love with a 2011 grabber blue GT/CS and its pedestal spoiler, so we ordered her a 2011 V6 MCA Pkg, and I added the spoiler, rear valance, magnaflow axleback myself. She couldn't be happier, and she really didn't want or need a 5.0, especially the cost.

Thanks. My wife loves the color otherwise I'd be single right now. Grabber blue draws so many eyes I can easily find a new wife lol.

I would leave it as it is the black cs stripe on black looks great leave the 5.0 off the people in the know understand what it is.

true, true. My other cs was white so the stripe was more apparent (obviously) and to this day when I see a white gt/cs it still catches my eye. I guess because it's a little more rare.

so the GT/CS comes with no fender holes, and the regular 5.0 does. I wanted to go stealth, but there are holes behind the 5.0.
