I'm ready to do this mod, do I need to get anything else for the 2013 tail lights or will they directly plug in to my 2011? I'm finding conflicting information online, any help would be appreciated.

 

Yes it is plug in and play as long as you get the US version of the lights. I first bought a version of EU lights and they use a different pigtail, once I got my hands on the US version it was 100% plug in and play.
