After a year & a half of the red stripe, I decided to change it. I was originally making a 1970 BOSS 302 Tribute car, so I went with the stripe I wanted originally. A reflective black 3M Side Stripe. In the shade, it's hardly visible, but in the sun and at night it really shows up.
the rear lights are very close to perfect and if i rolled by i would have stop and give you a thumbs up for the whole deal.
Good show!!

I like what you've done with your car. The gap doesn't bother me at all. On a black car, it's hardly noticeable.

Please explain how this is even possible. You got Boss 302 emblems before they even announced the Boss 302. Me being a Boss 302 owner dislike this.

The stripes have LONG been available from the aftermarket. If you look at the photo, you will see they are not the Ford OEM design. People have been putting Boss stripes on S197 Mustangs since they were released originally back in 2004!

Emblems as in font style that says "Boss 302" in the graphics? Graphics companies have been producing those for a long time as reproduction replacements for classic Mustangs and custom stripes for newer Mustangs way before the production Boss 302 was announced for 2012.

Why is it always emblems that get everyone's panties in a wad? People do entire gt500 front conversions and we say it looks amazing all day long. Heaven forbid you put a different emblem on your car. If you stand back and look at the car you almost don't even notice the emblems and this is for mustang guys who know what the emblems mean. This whole poser/don't make it what's its not thing wears me out. Something so small haha. Cant we just enjoy each others cars regardless of what some little piece of plastic or metal says?

For anyone looking to do the swap "complete" we will be offering a complete kit in the coming days using all Ford parts to do the job. We just finished it on our own car for Mustang Week, and have tested what is needed / not needed to make it happen and look 100% correct. Just finalizing prices on shipping and stuff before we can release it.
Personally, I love that we did this with the car, it finally has brought it together and made it "right" in my opinion, as I never liked the 2010 rear - mostly due to the shape of the taillights more than the candy-cane appearance (which I was almost okay with).
Also, lots of take-off pieces available from our 2010 if anyone wants them - I know it really needs to be in the FS section, but PM me if you are looking for any of the 2010 rear take-offs. Check out the photos (the reflectors were not installed at the bottom in these photos because we had to take that all back off for more hydrocarbon work that is almost complete - new pics soon!)

At the moment, we're at 3200.00 + shipping for the entire swap.
That is subject to change if Ford decides to go up in price (likely) or we will be happy to pass along any savings if they go down (not too likely).
That price includes everything to do the swap, just add paint. We can do the hydroprint CF finish on the diffuser and license plate section like we have on our car for an additional cost, but are not offering the bumper pre-painted due to chance of damage in transit at this time.
