1) Looks good - gap isn't too bad
2) I would install the 2013 DeckLid Black out panel
3) Perhaps a bodyshop could cut and reshape the rear bumper cover to change the lines and remove the gap?

Barely half an inch at the largest area, and unless you crouch down, you don't really notice it. From about 5 feet back, it just looks like a reflection.

Then people could poke it and ruin it...it would have to be some sort of plastic filler....

I think these taillights could be a popular mod once prices go down a bit...
Somebody should manufacture some sort of piece to fill the gap.

Fair enough as a lot of guys have done tribute cars.

I wonder when a company is going to come along and make a tail light that looks like the '13s but will have the shape of the 10-12s. Anyway, OP they look great...the gap would get to me or I would look into doing this.

And the jealousy sets in... What I'd do to be born in the '60s or '70s.

The gap would drive me crazy too. Better off sticking with what I have and if I want that 2013 look bad enough, I would change the bumper cover along with the lamps when I could afford it. However I am not at all distressed keeping my current look with the black trim bezels added.

Someone stated in another thread awhile back that Raxiom is working on it. Raxiom products are usually sold through American Muscle.com.

My dealer still hasn't been able to price out a 2013 bumper for me just yet. Too new I guess. He has the part numbers though, so he is halfway there!! As long as I can keep the price under $500 with paint, install, and striping I will do it. Otherwise, I will just wait for a new car takeoff.

I like the 2013 lights but hate the 2013 rear bumper cover.

It'll more than likely be over 500

To hide the gap, all you have to do is take an existing aftermarket bezel to use as a pattern, and make a custom one that covers the gap (it'll be a little thicker at the bottom where it needs to be).

That sounds like an excellent proposal, as well as money making opportunity!

Very good idea! I have my tail light covers, so I could use those as a template to design a filler. Will have to see what I can come up with.

It looks like the new lights on AM with the reverse light on bottom...I wonder if you could get those dimensions, and go from there...I mean either way you can just measure what you've got. I just can't wait to see what you come up with.
