2013 Boss Hood Stripe
Has anyone done a 2013 Boss hood stripe on a 11 or 12 Mustang? I was wondering if the 13 Boss hood stripe would fit on an 11 or 12 hood. If so could you please post a pic or 2. I noticed there is a little piece in front of the hood and the top of the grill on the 13's.

I don't recall seeing any done. I don't believe the '13 stripes would work on the '10/12 models, due to the difference in the hood length & the change in the grill on the '13 models. I'd bet the hood stripes would be too short on the '10/12 hoods.

The T-shape of the hood stripe, in my opinion, would be less recognizable as a Boss design than the hockey or C-stripe on the side.
In fact, that T-stripe might complement the look of the GT/CS side stripes, if it could actually be made to fit the contours of the '10-'12 hood. From the Boss 302 special, there was a scene where the 2013 stripe shape was applied to the 2012 hood. See below.

It's no different than putting a Shelby-inspired dual stripes on the hood of a GT/CS

I won't be rebadging. I like the GT/CS stripes, i just need a little black on my hood. I wanted the RTR hood stripe but it is no longer available from AM.

go to a stripe shop with a picture. they can design it of the picture and install it for you. That is what I did since I had to alter my width to accommodate the shaker hood scoop. Post pics if you do it.
