Others have posted topics like this before, and a lot of people seem to have an issue with them pretending to be big brake kits. I don't really see how that's "pretending" any more than painting the calipers is, but whatever.
That being said...I like them. They look pretty good, but I think they're WAAAAY overpriced. I'll just paint them, before I ever spend that kind of money on covers.

I like the color they add and the fact that they reduce brake dust. The only reason I am hesitant is that look pretty fake. Does painting your calipers take a long time to do/is it a pain in the ***?

Just take the wheel off, mask off anything you don't want painted. Clean the caliper and paint

It's not difficult, I used the kit that gets brushed on, but it's definately a long term commitment if you have OCD like I do. Once you paint them, you will be touching them up on a pretty regular basis (Weird, how the heck do they get chipped all the time ). I used to always use a brush to touch them up but recently found that a Q-Tip dipped in the paint then stippled on, works good for touch-ups and it's easy to fit between the spokes of the rim.

Either way though, painting was only like $35, so even if you do have to fix an occasional chip, still better than the covers IMO.
