Haha, yah, I posted this up over there, and I did a search and found out I wasn't the first one.. ha. I wish I found your thread earlier to pester you with a few questions before diving in myself... LOL.
My gatling shrouds didn't fit without trimming using the FX-R's... =[
btw, how did you get the housings open? Dremel? Bake? another secret? lol

Did you have the gatling gn mini shrouds or the larger shrouds? I used the bake method but of course ford had to put the ****tiest glue in there. It took about 10 heat cycles and prying to get each headlight open about 40 min a headlight. It was a pain in the *** everyother headlight I have done has only take about 10 min max to get apart.

I tried baking at the usual 225 for 15 minutes and it didn't do anything... so I decided to up it to 350 for 30 minutes... still nothing... then I tried ~415 for 20 minutes... Still didn't budge, but my clear bra started to wrinkle... Maybe it's a convection oven thing...

I am also doing a retrofit on my OEM headlights with the FX-R projectors. I ran into a problem, I don't understand how you pulled off the high/low beam reflector bowl. I can't tell from the picture how you did it. Advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
