tune advice

I have both 87 street tune and 87 performance tune. Which one should I do for overall performance for daily driving?

Since your car is a Manuel I would go with the Performance. Its going to make your car faster. For auto cars I would say Street because the performance tune make it shift really hard and thats no fun when your just driving to work.

Why the hell would you have a 87 octane performance tune? I guess that stuff will work in a stock car but step up to some good gas and a better tune. I put 87 in my lawn mower.

87 tune would be a waste of money unless the tune was for a lawn tractor.

Go with your performance tune but if I may make a friendly suggestion, have AM make you a 91 performance tune instead of the 87.

Yes get a new tune, I ran the 93 performance tune in my 04 GT DD for years, no problems.

Not to throw this monkey in the wrench because I know you didn't ask about this type of tune but just wanted to give you another option. Go with the hybrid tune. Omg, freaking awesome. 91 Hybrid tune, however this is certainly not a fuel saving tune. Very aggressive in the top performance for your stang.

For custom tune orders (non-cam idle):
Custom tune orders are $65 and typically include 1-2 custom tunes (though we can include 3 upon customer request) in different octanes. They are offered in 87, 89, 91 or 93, you will see more performance from the 91 or 93 than the 87 or 89.

Let me know if I can help answer any further questions at tim@steeda.com.

Best Regards,

TJ
