Traction-Lok for my 2012 V6?

I’m making plans to swap my 2.73 gears in my 2012 v6 with auto trans with an open rear end to the 3.55’s. This is my first Mustang and don't know if installing a Ford traction-lok is something I want and/or need for my nearly-stock daily driver here in southern Nevada. I’ve had the factory installed traction-loks in my two former 99/06 crown vics and my two former 93/95 t-birds. So I have a pretty good idea how they perform. Any advice before I shoot myself in the foot by making a poor decision?

My thoughts exactly. OP hasn't done any burnouts apparently!

The axle code on my drivers side door jamb sticker is: CC

hmmm. Interesting. Mine says CC as well but I was under the impression that all of the 11+ had and LSD. Check out this thread. https://themustangsource.com/f726/20...r-axle-493773/

2012BLKV6: The thread link you posted above says it all. I could have sworn that the LSD was only available with the 3.31 option in the base V6 order guide when I bought my car. My mustang doesn’t behave like it has a LSD and this is probably due to the new-to-me traction control feature which my other LSD Fords didn’t have. The CC axle code and chart is misleading too. Thanks for your help!

Do a burnout and see. If there is no traction lok that has to sort of be an awesome ride with one wheel peel. Just floor it and one wheel peel for a 1/8 mile.
