The Hpipe will give you a deeper sound slightly, but that's where you will lose your performance. There is more power produced by an xpipe for the 3.7L
Ya but not much...if it were just a tad larger the stock hybrid setup would be perfect...I think most any aftermarket muffler set up would give gains but its not much....at least the dyno charts ive seen dont show any consistent major difference with gains done by any muffler setup...including GT500 take offs...but I will agree they are the cheapest setup. Still havnt heard them in person... in person makes a difference. Youtube vids just never have the quality for that type of sound...

Thumbs up I think a CAI is worth it!

I just installed an Airaid CAI knowing full well about the lack of power gains. I simply love it, period!! That's why it's a pre-curser to the axle backs, tune, and gears I'll be getting down the road in the near future. After those mods, the CAI will show it's benefits. I like to build mods on top of mods in a progressive layer. Each getting better as I go. I say go for it and have fun with it and screw the nay sayers. This Mustang has been a long time coming for me, all my life, and I'm gonna have all the friggin' fun with it that I can afford. Do your research, pick your mod, install it, enjoy it, don't look back, and have FUN! Whoo-hoo
