Does the v6 have a rev limiter on it?

Sure it does, all cars do any more.

So can you bounce it off the rev limiter without damage to the engine (warmed up that is)? Not that I'd make regular use of that lol

Well people have different opinions on that. My mechanic told me that you can bounce it off the limiter with no damage to engine but I have no real experience. I do in my 2v sometimes albeit not on purpose

Ya got a bit late on an upshift on the onramp, got up around redline, just curious if it keeps you out of the danger zone on its own. Didn't intend to let the revs get up that high.

It's no problem, zing it and don't worry.

Guys with tunes up their shift points to 7200 or better and up the rev limit to 7400-7500.

It's fine if you hit the rev limiter... BUT the rev limiter WON'T save your engine if you were to mis-shift... Say from 5 > 2...
