Plug & Play JLT Oil Separators for the 2011 V6

New product:
Plug and play Oil Separator for the 2011 Mustang V6.

JLT Performance’s newest product to keep oil out of your intake is the Oil Separator.

During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, can coat your throttle bodies, intake runners, valves, blower rotors, intercooler fins and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse when supercharged as crankcase pressures are increased.

To combat this we have developed an oil separator of our own design. Milled from solid billet aluminum this is a rock solid piece. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O ring seal to prevent any leaks. We took this unit a step further and added a Ford Motorcraft metal mesh PCV Pre Filter element. This element collects the last bit of oil droplets and drains back into the tank when the engine is shut down.

We use this exact filter in our hugely successful JLT Pre Filters for the 4.6 DOHC engines. The tank holds 2 oz of fluid, while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn’t see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain it every oil change and you will never come close to filling it.

This new JLT Oil Separator is designed to work on any engine, but we have made it easy for many of the popular Mustangs and trucks. It is offered as a plug and play set up for all 2007-2011 Shelby GT500’s and 2005-2011 Mustang GT’s with factory PCV lines already attached, simply unplug your stock line and attach the new set up, no bracket needed as it supports itself, as well as complete kits for many other Ford Vehicles. Because this can benefit any engine we will also have a base kit available with a mounting bracket and you supply the needed fittings and hose.
Available in clear/satin or black anodized finish

We have done extensive testing on these on all vehicles and can say you will be surprised at the amount of oil collected and stopped from getting in your engine.
Here are some installed pictures as well as what was collected at 250 and 350 miles.

Thanks
Jay

These things really work. With cold weather and the short drives i take, i checked mine for the second time after 180 miles or so. It had a table spoon full of watery, gray colored oil in it this time. I'm glad this stuff isn't getting into my engine.

It smells bad too for whatever reason. I accidentally got a little on my hand and it took alot of scrubbing to get the stink off. So be careful disposing of the contents.

I hear you on the saving up part. X-pipes and cat backs are next for me. I guess I'll need some new tunes too. Haven't really decided on the LT headers yet.
